RECORDING ALBUM 2 - IN PROGRESS!

We are so excited to announce that we are pausing with live shows right now (outside of private parties/occasions) to record the second album which will be released in 2018!  This album is full of passion and expression around concepts of love, heartache, resentment, forgiveness and peace.  We have 4 songs complete with more to go and I'm confident this the best lyrical expression written yet!  If you have a request for a private show, wedding, or event, please use the "CONTACT"  tab to request a booking.  We will not be posting these on the events page as we continue our focus on recording this next piece.

HERE WE GO!  Thank you for all of your continued support!

Taking a step back to reflect on the weekend!  We hosted the Album Release Concert Party at Day Block Brewery in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday the 25th.  I couldn't have been more humbled by all of the beautiful faces that showed up to support the release.  At one point I looked around the room and thought - wow - how many worlds just collided here and how cool is it that we are all celebrating something we are all in together - together.   Co-workers, friends, family, people who were from MN, and traveled in from out of state, young, old, gay, straight, all races, democrat, republican, people I knew, people I just now met, people I still haven't met but were there (that I hope to meet soon).  It was a mash up of all worlds that make up one body of beauty.  Man, am I ever feeling grateful.  I couldn't have asked for a better crowd to sing my heart out too.  DJ Chrystal Mann is such an amazing partner in this, and absolutely crushed her part of the set - I'll forever remember watching everyone dance their hearts out at the end!  I think Day Blocks amazing brews may have helped in everyone having a little liquid courage as well :).

Between the piano, the guitar, the ukulele, the beats Chrystal threw down, the acoustic sections ... to Kelly who we pulled up on stage out of the crowd  (I wrote a song live on the spot for her) - thanks for being a great sport!!!  I hope you all enjoyed your night and it's my hope that your ears were filled with music you'll continue to listen to throughout the weeks!

We are in this together, and we are making dreams come true. Thank you for being my inspiration, and for throwing one heck of a release :).  IN IT TOGETHER!

Until the next gig :)

I’m sitting at my office right now.  Minneapolis traffic sounds in the background, a copper cup filled jalapeño Moscow mule, all smiles awaiting the release of my single “Say I Do” tomorrow morning.  I was absolutely humbled this week, when we previewed the single for 48 hours.  The amount of messages I received, and the thousands of ‘listens’ put me to tears.  I feel incredibly humbled, and I truly believe that we are all in this together.  I just truly couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who is supporting this project.   It’s my baby, and my diary, and vulnerably putting it all out there can be a scary thing – so know your words, and likes, and listens, they mean the world.

Working today through a list of thank you notes, hammering through the final checklist for the upcoming month, I’ve been knocking out more of the back office work.  And, although it’s already been several hours getting back to venues, following up with booking inquires, merchandisers, distribution, other artists, and the general daily to-dos, I feel no anxiety, just peace, and like I just drank a red bull and have the wings to continue through the night.   I’ve been learning how when you truly follow your purpose, and do what you absolutely love, work isn’t work any longer, it’s just what you were put on earth for.  A new beginning is a scary, yet incredible blessing, and I’m hoping I have all the fight in the world in me, to give this mission every ounce I have.  There’s been so much peace and fulfillment in realigning with a purpose driven life, spiritually, interpersonally, and in involvement with community.

So I guess I’ll close with – I’m so FRICKING pumped!  And THANK YOU for being on this journey with me.   Just like the beginning of the single’s lyrics state, I say these words back to you – and I truly mean it!

I’d do it ya all for you

I’d travel up to the moon

As far as it seems

Lets travel the world a thousand places together.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU ARE TO OUR PROJECT, ‘UNHEARD’.
